Hi!
Welcome and thank you for showing interest in Off the Beaten Track Productions. Allow me to tell you a little more about myself.
My name is Simon van Gorcum and I was born [1979] and raised in Amsterdam .
With many years of experience in production and tour support for the Music Industry I had the pleasure to work on a lot of different projects and discover a wide variation of disciplines. It brought me to amazing places and gave me great experience, knowledge and friends.
After 15+ years of producing and working in the Music industry I decided to re-direct my focus to an other field of expertise and switch to the exciting “new” world of international television (media) productions.
Discovering new people, new challenges and new adventures. But with the same commitment, tenacity and quality as before. And already blessed with a large network of highly capable professionals I met throughout the years!
So as a fixer I combine this producing experience with the knowledge I have of Amsterdam & The Netherlands. And use it for media productions from around the globe to help them discover and feature this amazing country and/or city!
As a field producer / director I do the same but only the world is my oyster!

About Amsterdam and me
Basically “I love Amsterdam and want to share it with the world”.
Throughout the years I have wandered about this beautiful city for thousands of hours and I dare to say I got to know this diverse city like the back of my hand.
So whether you need to boat the beautiful canals, visit our decadent collection of art-museums or submerge in the notorious “Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll” of the Red Light District .
Perhaps just some surprising Off the Beaten Track …
I will fix it!
